Karen Sims

I came to VCS in 2022 after working in public schools for 28 years.  I have taught many different subjects, including Social Studies, middle level English, Special Education, as well as working as the Library Media Specialist for 13 years.   My husband, daughter, and I live in Russellville.  He owns a local retail store in town and our daughter is currently a student at VCS.
Working with students in a small Christian environment is exciting as well as rewarding.  Teachers and students alike are able to share their faith, knowledge and experiences while growing in Christ. We work together in this learning environment.
