Michaela Draper

This last July, my husband and I celebrated our one-year anniversary together. We live in Russellville, and he works at ANO as an auxiliary operator. I grew up with two younger sisters and parents who own a small business in Northwest Arkansas. The Lord has blessed me with a family who loves the Lord and pushes me to pursue a Christ filled life.

Helping students build a strong foundation in their Biblical worldview has always been a passion of mine. It is such a joy to see students depending on the Lord for wisdom and knowledge. I am so excited to start teaching at a Christian school where students, teachers, and staff can work together to glorify Christ through education.

Last year I completed my internship at Dover High School where my focus was on mathematics. I also helped facilitate the school's Christian Student Union Club. During this time, I was able to learn from my mentor-teacher, who was formerly a VCS teacher, and build up my teaching practices. This will be my first year teaching, and I am so excited to be at Valley Christian!
